Pretty...

I wanted to draw something from my favorite Miyazaki film(Princess Mononoke) for a long time and I finally got around to it. I wanted to show the feminine side of San that is rarely seen in the film. Like the time she receives her gift from Ashitaka and says "pretty" and then the moment is over and she ties it around her neck and rushes into battle haha. The rest of the time she's mostly as tough as her wolf brothers. It was pretty fun inventing my own crazy faces for the Kodamas (forest spirits) and I hope its easy to catch the one imitating her by the base of the branch.

It was challenging sticking to more of the same style as the movie as well as keeping her proportions true. The paper I used this time was rougher so I didnt get the same smoothness I would prefer like in my Kakashi pic for example.
